A look back at 2024 with UPP President Chris Maier

A year of consistent growth

In 2023 we focused on growing our team and culture, building the UPP brand, expanding our service areas, and continuing the development of industry leading tools and technology.

After receiving great feedback from our customers, stable growth continued through all of 2024. We continued to expand our team, capacity, and presence throughout North America.

Following our core values led to some incredible technology breakthroughs by our engineering and design teams, and client-facing teams continued to build a strong reputation as the go-to service provider for Inline Inspection.

Key highlights of 2024

• Our team grew by 16 talented and motivated individuals!
• We released updated performance specifications and continue to push the envelope of what has traditionally been possible in the small diameter MFL market, particularly in the area of pinhole corrosion.
• We completed first inspections for over 20 new pipeline operators and continued to expand our services to our core group of happy customers.
• We continued to build a brand our employees are proud of and customers recognize as industry leaders!

For 2025 we continue to look ahead

• Scale: We are expanding the fleet while improving on tool reliability; the cornerstone of first run success.
• Innovation: Working to understand our client’s challenges and solve their problems through new products and value-added services.
• Expansion: Answer the call to expand our services to the United States by recognizing the unique challenges and hard working people that make America great (again).

Every year has been exciting and busy for the team at UPP.
2024 was no different!

When I reflect on our success, we wouldn’t be here without the combined efforts of our vendors, technology department, operations team, project managers and administrative staff. I recognize and appreciate the dedication and passion required to reach this level of success – Thank you!
