Looking back at 2023 with UPP President Chris Maier
January 1, 2024
A pivotal year for United Pacific Projects.
As 2023 comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the UPP team. We have been focused on developing our tools and technologies and growing our client base.
This year has seen us expand our fleet and our workspace – adding staff members and trucks and moving into our new Calgary offices.
Key highlights in 2023:
- Growing our workforce by 32% over last year.
- Rounding out our services to cover 3”–12” diameters while maintaining the highest quality in both data and advanced algorithm development to push the envelope of what is possible in the small diameter MFL space.
- More than doubling the size of our tool fleet to meet demands of new and existing customers.
- Completing Inline Inspections for 35+ unique pipeline operators in Canada and the US with plans to expand further.
Looking to 2024:
- Continuing to grow our knowledge base and develop algorithms that improve the tool’s accuracy, providing added value for pipeline operators.
- Expanding our suite of offerings to address more customer challenges.
- Maintaining our core values as we expand our customer base: pioneering service offerings to our clients while maintaining exemplary customer service.
Thank you to our team, clients, vendors and partners. We wouldn’t be where we are if not for your contributions.

Sincerely,
Chris Maier
