UPP Introduces New 6″ Pipeline Inline Inspection Tool

Calgary, AB – United Pacific Projects (UPP) has deployed its first Inline inspection tool: The Full Tri-Axis UXD MFL/CAL/IMU Combo Tool.
Just 6” in diameter, this compact unit is ideal for navigating tight, complex spaces with unmatched accuracy and efficiency.
Featuring multiple inspection technologies, the Full Tri-Axis UXD MFL/CAL/IMU Combo Tool includes:
- Full Tri-Axis MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage): Enhanced detection and sizing of metal loss anomalies.
- CAL (Caliper) Technology: Accurate measurement of pipeline geometry and detection of dents and deformations.
- Integrated IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit): Precise mapping of pipeline coordinates and detection of any changes in alignment.
The consolidation of these technologies into one tool improves efficiency while refusing to compromise on accurate data collection and analysis. UPP is building the future of Inline inspection tools, starting with this smart little combo tool.
